FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH CRAYFISH

This is the first time I have eaten this kind of seafood. I was wondering at first on how to open the thing but fortunately I was able to manage it. The taste is like a combination of crab and prawn, it was fantastic. I am really hoping I could have another plate of this dish.

ADORAS @ PANGASINAN

It's summer time and ISO friends decided to head to Bolinao, Pangasinan. Aside from visiting the place for our summer vacay, we went there for the prenup shoot of Glenn and Ellen. We arrived early and I think at around 6am. So, we went around to find a good spot where we can eat. The people from the resort told us that we can visit Adora's as it is the nearest dining place where we can find "good food". Hmm..we'll see..hehehe..

We arrived here at ^ although it's not very far from the resort where we stayed..Apparently, we did not come here at once..

A total rip-off..this should be priced at 40php for it's quality..There are better tapsilogs here in Manila at cheaper price. However, we don't have other choice but to eat here since there are only a small number of eateries around. 

 

day 3 - breakfast @ Puerto del Sol

Breakfast is Ala carte only since there are only a few vacationers left in the resort..No more buffets..Although, the food tasted great still. The only drawback is that they have a long waiting time of 40minutes before the meals get cooked. :(

The box is supposed to be colored pink..However, as I mentioned I was not able to adjust the right settings..LOL..Guess I don't have photography skills or I'm simply not diligent enough to study how to do it..hahaha..

I've tried this one before, it's kinda addicting..hehe..

There are more pocky pictures to come..I'm planning to purchase again the ones that I've already tried like the Pretz corn flavored and the one with the sesame seeds..I failed to take pictures of those so I better buy them again..hehehe..So there!Enjoy..

After watching Alice in Wonderland here is where we ended up to have a nice dinner..

The spot is very nice and the crews are truly attentive. After all, those are the traits that you are aiming for in a restaurant and they have them. However, for some, the place could be a little intimidating, but if you are willing to shell out some cash then this is the perfect dining spot for you.

I definitely enjoyed the shrimps..

GRILLED BEEF with MANGO SALSA and SAFFRON RICE

The beef is tender, flavor is fine but I'm not wowed. I think the saffron flavor in the rice is too overwhelming but I'm not sure how others will judge the taste. I believe this is good for sharing but if you have a huge stomach then you can eat the whole meal but I already got full after eating half of the serving.

STUFFED BAKED CREAM DORY on ANGEL HAIR PESTO PASTA

I love this dish and if I'm not mistaken, the stuffing is mushroom. It's a light meal. 

 

 CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

After devouring all those strong flavored dishes, this is definitely a perfect finale. We were planning to order this on our next visit, by the way, we had this for free because our bill reached 750php+ and it's on their promo along with 2 other dishes (single portion steak and salad). As I recall, this dessert cost 125 or 175php.

we had our usual weekend family affair and settled on heading to trinoma..it's our first time there..on my hunt for another foodtrip, we end up at bigoli..
