ORCHARD ROAD @ megamall

After eating yoghurt at Red Mango we are off to find a restaurant to dine in (dessert first before the main meal, LOLz). Then we noticed this new spot called "Orchard Road" so I asked husbie to try it out..

The egg still has some shell bits in it..LOLs!Bell peppers are cooked just right but the beef is a little tough..

ICED LYCHEE 45php
Few lychees were included and not same with the picture on display..There's too much ice, if they had a comment slip I would suggest that they decrease the size of the bowl and also the amount of ice..

RED MANGO @ megamall

Finally, I was able to visit the "Red Mango" store in Mega..Unfortunately, I was not able to take pictures of their facade and the toppings because "I'm shy.." (baka bigla nalang akong sitahin takot ako e)..hahahaha..

Oh well..Here are the few photos of what we ate (I'm with husbie, so it's a DATE!) He thought it was icecream, I told him it was yoghurt..

HAPPY VALENTINES 2010

Happy Valentines to all the merry hearts..
Am I?hmmm..nevermind..LOL..

At last, throughout our 2 days and 1 night trip to Baguio, I finally get to have some pics of foods to include in this blog. However, the location where we had our Valentines dinner was not in the "summer capital" but in Tarlac..TOINX!This is when we are headed back home.

Yesterday, my inlaws had lunch at Gerry's Grill SM Baguio and I was not able to take pictures of the foods because we arrived late and they just finished eating when we got there..

The photos here were not that perfect since my folks are like in a rush to dig in because we have not eaten lunch YET and this can be considered as lunch-dinner..LOL!

LAFHANGZ ORIGIN

As a kid, I was always into watching diverse cooking shows, it sort of relaxes me. While I was growing up I am always interested on how to create the best Italian dishes that I can serve for my folks and companions. Aside from that I am also interested with different cuisines (Japanese, Korean, Mediterranean and others).

My uncle was the one who introduced numerous “toshalin” foods to me. I considered the meals “toshal” since I never tasted those kinds of dishes when I was around 15 or younger I guess. The restaurants I recalled he took me to dine-in were Itallianis, Buddha (greenbelt) and Dulcinea to name some. For others this is not the lavish kind of dining experience but for me it was the best and like TOSHALIN! Since then I was able to savor several cuisines but not the “exotic” ones as I don’t have the stomach to take those.

I also have the passion to cook and not simply dine out at restaurants. My grandma would always tell me “ayoko talaga ng ganyang pagluluto masyadong mabusisi” – “I don’t really like that kind of cooking procedure it is laborious”. At times I’m pissed off by her because of her sentiments when I’m cooking but afterwards she would appreciate the dishes that I came up with. Of course not all of my experiments were successful, I even tried cooking pizza dough in the oven toaster LOL, and it sucks! But granny ate it, hahaha that was a funny memory. The first Italian pasta dish I made for my folks includes shrimp, mirepoix, crushed tomato, basil, olives and s&p. I don’t know what to call this dish so I just wrote the ingredients. My uncle really loved it and I was satisfied with the results.

With the help of this blog, I would be able to share my experiences to friends and others out there who are also food enthusiasts like me. Come and let’s take a trip to all the dining spots here in the Philippines and probably abroad! Weee!!! TARA GUYZ LAFHANGZ TAIO!!!

CAJUN RED ROCK @ megamall

Just got bored at home and so I went to mega..After walking around the atrium I saw this CAJUN RED ROCK..

We were a bit disappointed because the food came 20-25 minutes after we ordered, the waiter said that they just opened and they were not accepting credit cards at that time..Fortunately, I got some cash..LOL!

The food was alright, I was satisfied..The drinks were huge!!hahaha..
Next time, I'll make a better blog with the prices and other details..So, here are the photos..

I find this camera really cute and so this picture was taken..
