Manna Sutukil @ Mactan Cebu

Manna Sutukil at Mactan Cebu is among the popular sutukil restaurants in there. Sutukil means Su-sugba, Tu-Tuwa/Tinola/Tinuwa/Tula and Kil-kilawin..A lot of pinoy celebs have dined here already so I chose this to be one of our itineraries and not to mention that it is near the Mactan shrine..

Family pic while waiting for our orders..

Here are our orders:
Steamed Prawns with Garlic Sauce

Chili Crab (I'm not a fan of the huge orange crabs I'd prefer the blue ones but this has changed my perception about orange crabs..It's juicy and sweet!super loved it!)

Baked Scallops

Adobong Kangkong

Seafood Rice (this is very filling because it's got lots of meat in it)

Mango Shakes

 The Aftermath..

So full and satisfied..

Overall, we loved all the dishes because they are very flavorful and really satisfying..If we'll have a chance to visit Cebu we'll definitely dine here again..Our bill is 1850php for the entire meals..Yum yum yum!!!

complimentary breakfasts @ CEBU R HOTEL

This is the hotel that I chose to book for the Sinulog Festival at Cebu last January 15-18, 2011. I will include the complimentary breakfasts that they offered but I want to mention that there's nothing to rave about it.

Here is how the lobby looks like:

Here are the breakfast choices:

cornedbeef, egg and fried rice

tocino, egg and fried rice (my husband intentionally did this to ruin my shot)=))
 hotdog, egg and fried rice

ham omelet and fried rice

danggit, egg and fried rice (again my husband played with the food before I was able to take the shot)

corned tuna, egg and fried rice

orange juice

iced tea

milo everyday

mango

I don't know what's this called but it's like biko (you can dip this in sikwate)

ginataan

Here are the photos of our room and how messy I put all my stuffs everywhere =)) They have given me souvenir shirt and hat as well because of the Sinulog..

My souvenirs..

Thank you note..

AMICI @ Atrium Megamall

Last night we visited Amici at Atrium Megamall. I was inquisitive with what they have to offer but got really disappointed.

As first timers, we are not aware that it is a self-service restaurant. However, their waiters did not even bother to give us the menu when we head to one of their tables. The entire restaurant is huge but we believe that they should have made the area smaller if they would not be able to give great customer service.

As for all the food, we find it very boring and they should really improve all of it..

Here are our orders:

Mozarella Fritto 170php
Mozarella sticks with promodoro sauce
I find the taste of the mozzarella to be odd..The one we've tried at Las Paella's at Galleria is better..
 Tutta Carne 295 php
Pepperoni, ham and Italian sausage
Few toppings and the taste is forgettable..

Spaghetti ai Tesori del Mare 260php
Mildly spicy spaghetti with fresh tomatoes, clams, mussels, scallops and chili oil
The seashells tasted (malansa) I can cook better seafood pasta than them (lols!yabang!)It's too oily as well and there's no wow factor..

After he vomit on his pants (got choked on the slice of the mozzarella stick)..haha!

finding what to order..

Our bills is around 800php and we're not really satisfied with the flavor of the dishes..It's better to eat at Sbarro..hahaha!
